She became involved at MYT when, after her daughter Sophie’s first show, Sophie said, “When I’m at theatre, I feel like I am home.” Trysh truly loves MYT, and the difference it makes in the lives of so many children and families. She loves that her whole family can be a part of theatre productions through volunteering. The MYT family is a HUGE part of heart heart and she is honored to serve.
She feels MYT is a second family to her children. She know there are many more children in McKinney who could benefit from our theatre, and she has made it her mission to find them.
She volunteered to be a part of the MYT Board because she knows first hand how theatre positively influenced her life and she sees it doing even more incredible things for her kids. She wants to help MYT grow so as many families as possible can experience the magic of our theatre family.
She volunteers for MYT because her daughter Audrey loves performing. Their family fell in love during our first play with meeting new friends and the level of professionalism.
She loves to work with the great group of students at MYT, and is excited about her new role as Programming Chair.
Her passion for theatre began in 2010 during her daughter’s first production at MYT; her son joined the NTPA family in 2014. Watching this theatre grow has been a true joy of hers. She has volunteered in near every role in the theatre from Show Parent to Backstage Coordinator to Concessions Parent to Volunteer Coordinator. Rozalyn has been a huge advocate for the growth of MYT, has found true joy in watching it flourish, and is proud to serve on the MYT Advisory Board.
Stacy is passionate about serving and thrilled to join the MYT Board. She is excited to help as the Board works to find MYT a permanent home. Her goal is to keep MYT a place where all kids can be celebrated and applauded for their talents and unique abilities.
