Acting Company for Excellence (ACE)

Acting Company for Excellence (ACE) 2018-11-13T15:08:55+00:00

The Acting Company for Excellence represents a select group of young actors who have met the rigorous standards established for admittance by the Directors of North Texas Performing Arts.

This company’s primary goal is to distinguish certain students who demonstrate a desire for excellence on stage and off. ACE members are mentored to further enhance leadership skills, hone the craft of acting and performing, improve communication, and learn other valuable skills beneficial to a career in the arts.  Company members will be selected based on their level of experience, talent (via audition), and maturity both on and off the stage.

An NTPA ACE is recognized across the NTPA system, receives a common set of benefits and participates in common activities and requirements.  There are currently ACE Chapters active in our Plano, Fairview and Frisco theatres.  The ACE program is managed by the NTPA Creative Director and each ACE Chapter has a Resident Director Advisor team.
