Congratulations to our April Artist of the Month, Morgan Haney!

We are also thrilled to announce Morgan’s promotion as NTPA’s Newest Resident Director.

Morgan has a passion for creating excellent theatre for young audiences, both as a director and an actor. She joined the NTPA team in 2020 and has been directing shows and teaching both in-person and virtual acting classes. As part of her role as a Resident Director, Morgan will also be taking on the important role of Volunteer Coordinator and will lead the training efforts for show volunteers.

Morgan received her Bachelor’s of Music in Music Theatre from Oklahoma City University. She has worked with Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth, where some of her favorite productions include the national tour of Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells (Junie B. Jones), The Big Bad Musical (Evil Stepmother), and the world premiere of Frank-N-Friend. Morgan has also worked closely with Barter Theatre in Virginia, where she performed in the national tour of Frosty as well as productions in their repertory season including The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Lucy). Morgan’s favorite director credits include The Tempest, In the Next Room, and Columbinus.
