These camps are themed around popular stories and promote learning through creativity. This camp aims to give youth and adults opportunities to bring a different story to life through visual and performing arts. Visual arts activities include painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage, and printing. Performing arts activities include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, movement, and pantomime. These activities give students the chance to learn creative expression in a group setting, as well as further their development of social, communication, motor, and cognitive skills

About the Director
Gabby Banzon is the Therapy Programs Director at NTPA. She earned a Bachelors in Music Therapy from Georgia College & State University in 2014 and a Masters of Arts in Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2017. Her clinical experiences include clients of all ages with various developmental & intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions. She also presents at conferences and serves on committees for music therapy. Outside of work, she writes and performs on her own and in ensembles, singing and playing various instruments. You can find her music on iTunes! When not working or playing music, Gabby enjoys having a good conversations over a good meal.
