Mick McCormick

Congratulations to our July Artist of the Month, Mick McCormick!

Mickaléan ”Mick” McCormick is a first-generation Irish-American who grew up in the New England area. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BFA in Film and Theatre. He is a member of The Society of American Fight Directors and The Screen Actors Guild. He spent 16 years in Hollywood working as an Actor, Director and Producer on stage, screen and television. He has worked with NTPA for several years and currently serves as the House Manager for the Willow Bend Center of the Arts. Among his favorite work at NTPA is the production of TOM SAWYER he directed recently in Plano, and the fight scenes he staged for Peter Pan, Les Miz, Julius Ceasar, Mulan and Romeo and Juliet. He is currently directing TREASURE ISLAND for NTPA Frisco and doing the stage combat for Lord of the Flies. In addition to teaching film and video work for the NTPA Academy, he works as a Freelance Producer, Director and Fight Choreographer in the DFW area.
