As North Texas Performing Arts continues to grow and expand to fulfill its mission to develop the character of youth through performing arts education and quality entertainment, we rely upon an exceptional staff of performing arts professionals to manage the shows and programs that “developed characters” of over 6,000 youth last year. The quality, experience, and passion of our creative team of management and directors has never been greater and while NTPA is the largest, it is also represents the very best youth theatre organization in the country
We are pleased to announce the promotion of one of our own to lead our youth theatre programs across NTPA.
Lindsey Lederer came to NTPA as a student, and it was NTPA that turned on her passion for the performing arts. Lindsey went on to intern with NTPA in Summers, developing her passion for working with children. She came back as a Summer Intern while she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater and minor in psychology from Ouachita Baptist University. She went on to perform professionally with major entertainment corporations including Walt Disney World and Six Flags over Texas, then managed the creative and performing arts programs for youth at a major area church. She joined NTPA as a Director and was promoted to Managing Director over three years ago.
We are pleased to announce that Lindsey Lederer has been promoted to the role of NTPA’s Vice President of Youth Theatres.
Lindsey will report to NTPA Chief Executive Officer Darrell Rodenbaugh and will oversee NTPA’s Plano, Fairview, Frisco, Dallas and future youth theatre operations and all youth program creative staff, together with the talented management team of Mike Mazur, Cibby Bowden, Christian Black and Morgan Southard with the Frisco Program Director soon to be announced.
Lindsey will be focusing on guiding NTPA to deliver the best possible educational and growth experience for our students, the most comprehensive program offerings, and patron experience.
Congratulations to Lindsey!
