Half Day Art and Drama Camps – Ages 5-9

Grouped by age, students actively participate in visual and performing arts. Every student will perform on Friday to demonstrate what they’ve learned. Each week’s theme will involve a variety of visual art projects that could include painting, pottery, mixed media, cartooning, sculpture, drawing, collage and printing.

Performing arts activities include story dramatization, improvisation, theatre games, poetry, movement, singing, puppetry & pantomime.
(Bring a snack and drink)

AM Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM – $195
PM Session: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – $205

Half Day Production Camps – Ages 7-13

These camps focus on theatre games and activities as well rehearsing a one-act play. Each student will have a speaking part in a Friday performance for family and friends. Parents help students learn lines at home. (Bring a snack and drink.)

Full Day Production Camps – Ages 7-13

Acting, choreography, costuming, set building and more! According to each week’s theme, students will work on acting skills and technical theatre in the morning and rehearse in the afternoon for a whole day of theatre fun. Performances for family and friends on Friday of each week. (Bring a snack, lunch, & drink.)

Summer Workshops – Ages 8-13

Plano Children's Theatre

P.A.G.E. (Performing Arts Growth Essentials)

This workshop is highly recommended for students new to performing. Students will develop the key skills and vocabulary of acting and performance. Students will learn basic acting techniques and exercises that prepare them to audition for and perform in any production. The P.A.G.E. workshop is an essential introduction to acting and the performing arts.

July 2-3 – P.A.G.E. Workshop

Plano Children's Theatre

Theatre Tech Intensive

Students enrolled in this class will learn first-hand both the creative and technical side to lights, sound and scenic design from experts in the field. After successful completion of this class, students will be considered for opportunities to use their technical theatre skills running lights and sound for upcoming PCT/NTPA productions.

July 5-6 – Tech Theatre Intensive

Rising Stars – Grades K-2

Rising Stars is a six-week program for grades K-2 to grow and develop through rehearsal and performance of music. Through adapted songs and scripts, children will develop their social, motor, and communication skills. This program will end with a performance on the last day of class.
