Whether you have an hour, a day, or more, North Texas Performing Arts has volunteer opportunities for you! With theatres in Plano, Fairview, Frisco, and Dallas, you are invited to be a part of the largest youth theatre in the nation!

Volunteer Opportunities
College Performing and Visual Arts Interns
In college and looking for a summer or semester internship? With over 120 productions across our system of theatres, North Texas Performing Arts offers college students valuable hands on learning opportunities to choreograph productions, assistant direct, stage manage, design and build sets, costumes, lights, or sound.
Show Greeters/Ushers
Welcome our patrons and pass out playbills at performances. We invite you to see the show for free!
Administrative Assistants
Data Entry, grant research, member care.
Costumes/Sets/Props
Learn new skills and spend time with other creative types to bring a director’s vision to life on stage!
Lights/Sound/Stage Management
Run lights or sound for a production, stage manage a NTPA Repertory Production.
Marketing
Exciting learning opportunities for Senior High and college students interested in a career in marketing. Develop your design style as you create posters, website content, video, and marketing materials.
Board Leadership
Each NTPA program has its own Board of Directors to serve our mission of developing the character of youth through quality performing arts education and family entertainment. We are seeking diverse board members from the North Texas Region who have expertise in community engagement, financial, marketing, technical theatre, IT, and event planning.
Community Outreach
Represent NTPA at local events such as Plano’s Art Fest, Frisco’s Art Festival, Fairview Christmas Celebration, Dickens Downtown, VOLY in the Park and others.
Event Planning
Join other NTPA volunteers to plan and execute important fundraising events to raise money for scholarships, programming, and capital campaigns.
Classroom Assistants
Volunteer as a classroom and administrative assistant. Volunteer as a performance partner for our Starcatchers Therapeutic Arts Program.
